The Ibanez AW400CE Acoustic Electric Guitar is a perfect guitar for beginners and performing artists alike. The lush, sparkling tones originate from a Solid Sitka Spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides and a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret to maximize resonance and produce a vibrant shimmering tone. The AW400CE also features a single cutaway body design which allows access to those upper register notes when you're reaching for a little extra in your lead playing.
The thin profile mahogany neck will feel comfortable in your hand and you will love the easy playability. The neck also features 20 frets with pearloid dot inlays on a rosewood fingerboard, and a distinctively contoured rosewood bridge which will stabilize intonation. A set of chrome Grover tuners rounds out the hardware.
When it's time to hit the stage, the Ibanez AW400CE Artwood can be amplified through an onboard Fishman Sonicore Pickup system paired with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 Preamp. The pickup's is fitted under the saddle and helps preserve both the aesthetic and structural integrity of the guitar. The Ibanez AW400CE Artwood is also equipped with an easy to operate onboard tuner. Case not included.
