The Thomann BD1814 Marching Bass Drum adds high percussive tones that blend in well with the rest of the marching ensemble. This bass drum has a highly responsive playing surface that gives an excellent playing feel. The 7-ply drum shell is made from birch that provides good acoustic support so that the tone ensures excellent sustain. Additionally, the aluminium hoops add to the sound quality and offer durability. The eight die-cast lugs can be used to set the correct tension for the playing surface.
