The amp has three ¼” inputs - so you can connect microphone, guitar, keyboard or any other 3 instruments. Note that the XLR Microphone would need to have an XLR to 1/4 inch cable.

The Vault Nomad 40 gives you AUX IN connectivity with a 3.5mm connector and a USB input. This allows you to connect any playback device like a phone or MP3 player, and play or sing along with your favorite music playing in the background. You can also use the headphone output in quiet settings for practice and the D.I out in live scenarios where you want to set your sound on the amp and send the output to the sound system at the venue with you the sound that you have chosen. 

Inbuilt Pedal Power Supply
The 9V power supply on the back panel lets you power any 9 Volt pedal that you would need in your signal chain be it a vocal processor or a guitar pedal. The amp is a complete performance setup in itself and you don't need to carry a separate pedal power supply.
